Exakta Photo buys Norsk Skolefoto

On 1 January 2023, Exakta Photo will officially buy 100% of the shares in Norsk Skolefoto AS, Norway’s largest school photography company. This year (2022) the company has had a turnover of approximately 75m SEK, and remains highly profitable. With its head office located in Vestby (just south of Oslo), the company employs a permanent staff of 25 employees, which reaches over 100 during high season (when schools tend to arrange photos).

We see this acquisition as an important step in our continued investment towards becoming the leading school photo group in the Nordics. Magnus Bagge will also be CEO of the Norwegian company, and finances will be managed from Malmö through the Exakta Group. Over time, we hope to fully integrate both with production collaboration, joint customer service and other area that will allow us to grow together. It’s a truly exciting step towards developing Exakta further with this international venture.
